PLEASE READ CAREFULLY CLASS POLICY

We are happy that you are interested in our painting classes! We offer a variety of instructional classes for painting, glazing, and other DIY methods for finishing ceramics. Our Instructional Classes are offered from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Monday through Saturday! Please read our class policy carefully as the details below ensure classes run efficiently, consideration of time for staff and other students, and projects are not lost, misplaced, or forgotten.

Online Sign-Up Details

 All of our classes require a sign up in advance as defined by the class event in order to participate. This Online Sign-Up Option provides convenience for those wishing to partake in our classes but are unable to make it in store. Each online sign-up must be done at least 24 Hours in advance of the desired class date. During this sign-up you can choose from the current available time and dates that you wish to partake. This sign-up does not include the piece, and the piece must be selected when you arrive to your class and prepaid for before your class can begin. You must base-coat your own piece when signing up online. Our classes are signed up one at a time, and if you decide after a class that you wish to finish your project at home you are free to do so, as additional finishing classes are not required. ALL FINISHING CLASSES must be signed up at the END OF YOUR CLASS. If you are unable to make the immediate commitment you must take your piece home and come in at a later date to sign up at least 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE.

PLEASE NOTE! WHEN SIGNING UP ONLINE YOU MUST BASE-COAT YOUR OWN PIECE!

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Please make sure to verify all Ceramic Forge policies, details, and expectations before signing up. Once a class is booked and paid for; there are NO REFUNDS. With EACH INDIVIDUAL sign up you can have ONE reschedule IF YOU CALL and make the change at least 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. Any LATE AND/OR ADDITIONAL reschedules will require an additional class sign-up fee of $12.00. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you choose to cancel your class, you are free to do so at the loss of your space and $12.00 sign-up fee. If you choose to not partake in additional finishing classes or cancel your class you are required to pick up your project within ONE WEEK of your last scheduled class date. Any piece that is not picked up will be discarded.

Classroom Rules & Expectations

 Our ceramic studio is an instructional studio and therefore taught techniques will be REQUIRED to ensure proper care and use of tools and supplies. You are free to choose the colors, design, and concept of your piece(s). All techniques will be demonstrated before each step and guidance will be provided as needed. All paint MUST be dispensed by the instructor, and mixing paints is not allowed; UNLESS given prior approval by the instructor. Due to the possibility of multiple students in a class please make sure to notify the instructor when you need more paint, you are ready for the next step or would like additional guidance. The instructors will do their best to watch each student during the class to streamline the experience. PLEASE BE AWARE, time management is solely the responsibility of the student, and we do not guarantee that a project will be completed within one 2-hour class. Lastly, failure to comply with proper use of tools and provided supplies may result in friendly reminders and playful puns. We apologize in advance if our jokes are painfully punny.
